AbMat Preacher Pad Review (BEST Preacher Curl Bench Alternative?)
You can do all of that with the Synapse CCR, the adjustable harness and an anchor point. I use a metal foot plate. You will get just as much, if not more resistance as well (eccentric, concentric and isometric).
$2000.....you could buy your local gym instead.
I like this! Now make a super long one for smith machine style bench and squats.
There’s plans for more
@@ShreddedDad so excited !
Great idea, thank you for sharing. I'm going to try it asap
Use lots of padding
Hey, not sure if you still have this bench, but can you rotate the ab attachment to do nordic curls?
Hey, unrelated to the video, but whats your recommended budget olympic barbell?
Check out the Rhino barbell by Synergee 👉 shreddeddad.com/synergee-rhino-barbell/
@@ShreddedDad Thanks! I was more looking for a olympic-style one without too aggressive knurling. I saw your Living Fit review but that costs $279 now. Any cheaper alternatives to that bar you recommend?
@RonMexico527 for cheaper options look on Amazon
Hey man im trying to install my cables now have any info on how to install them?
Send me a DM on Instagram @dadshredded and I’ll send you some clips
Make the foot plate wider and longer
Thanks for the suggestion
1/ my 360 rotation isnt as fluid. Maybe needs wd40? 2/this is heavy. I thought it might have been something to throw back of the car, and carry out to a grassy area. Nah!. I had been just using the belt, clipped to a 25lbs plate previously. Not ideal, but portable.
I love mine
👊
What’s the length of your cables?
10 feet
Thx for the review and discount!
You’re welcome 👊
Great, direct link please

How is the stability of the bench? Is it wobbly? Thats the main problem of my bench right now.
Thanks this helped so much man! I was able to hold onto the 75 pound dubells for rdls and did sjith ajmchine shrugs with 2 plates something I could never hold in my hands wihtout them. Then I even tried them out on the seated row and i could move 170 pounds no problem I tried it wouth the straps I couldn't even move it more than a rep without it falling out of my hands
Awesome. They really do help
Do you feel you get a full resistance on the tib bar or does it get easier at the top? Also i have iornmaster dumbbells does it fit on the tib bar, how much weight can i use with the dumbbell adapter? Thank you, cool video straight to the point
If you do tib raises with your leg horizontally, yes it gets easier at the top. What you can do is set your leg on a decline bench so that the weight is always pulling you down. It’s been tested up to 100 lbs which feels like a ton when using a solo tib bar
@@ShreddedDad well I'm sold lol. I've been wanting a way to do leg curls, was going to go with a leg extensions & cult bench adapter, but it's very big and awkward to store . I'm pretty minimalist and this is exactly want fits me. Thank you, do you have a affiliate link?

Nice set up your got there ❤❤❤
Thanks 👊
@@ShreddedDad 💪🏾👌🏾
Calves firing all fibers to keep balance results in more muscular calves and better motor control.
My tread keeps veering off to the side. How do I fix / stop that?
Are you talking about the belt? You can adjust the belt tightness at the foot of the deck. You’ll see a hole on each side for an Allen wrench
@@ShreddedDad I appreciate the reply! Yeah I was referring to The belt. So if my belt is veering off to the left side, does that mean I need to tighten that bolt on the left?
Yes
Is there a full review on this?
You can read my review here shreddeddad.com/xebex-airplus-rower/
Awesome idea, but a little pricey.
Thanks for the feedback
I cramped watching this, thanks.
👊
That's clever.
Yeah cool idea
the best thing for balance would be to not wear ultraboosts 😂
😆 true but as you go deep into the calf stretch you’ll lose balance regardless of what you wear

could I use it just as a regular treadmil just to walk on it while watching a movie or something
You can but you’ll have to have your hands on it to create counter force You can watch my full review here ruclips.net/video/M6KsstHcNJ8/видео.html
The whole 2 to 1 blows!! Nothings better than free weights!
Can you feel or hear the weights shift when you’re doing exercises? Some reviews said that one of the cons to adjustable kettlebells is that the weight slightly shifts with certain workouts
You can hear a small shift with certain movements like when the kettlebell is flipped but nothing that you can feel to throw you off
I just started doing incline bench. I doing 270 for 1 rep is this good ? At 230
Yeah you’ll get stronger but that’s a good start
How tall are you? I'm 6'2 I have the Nordic GHD and I ordered the leg developer attachment but I'm not sure how comfortable the leg curls are gonna be esp for taller folks. Any thoughts would be appreciated!
I’m 5’7”. Both the leg extension rollers and lying leg curl rollers are adjustable for different heights. They’re meant to fit people between 5 ft and 7 ft
I share the same concern in terms of clearances for your head. I’m 6’. It looks like your face is right up on the roller pads. Does the adjustability account for that?
@@nader.the roller pads will be below your head since the bench is set to decline
I feel like an idiot. I don’t understand how to tighten it the right amount feels like me feet slide right out
Set your feet against the door and pull the strap in the middle up as tight as you can
I have a food scale so I can weight it all the time. It's so easy don't know why people act like it's to much work ha. Super easy takes 10 seconds
👊
Is 2400 Cal to aggressive?? I'm 230 and 6 foot
Multiply your ideal weight x 10 to get the calories
@@ShreddedDad okay thanks. I was doing my goal body weight 185 x13 I heard Greg say that. Maybe that's not the aggressive haha. Damn it I thought I was being aggressive ha. Loosing only one pounds of fat a week and lifts are going up. Got my bench to 325 but just for 1 rep and Ohp 230 for one rep. Weighted chin is hard because I'm chubby haha..... Is 180-190 good for 6 foot lean ?? My dad said I'd look to skinny
@@ShreddedDad so my goal is 185-190. So 185x10 ??
Damn that's only 1850 ha
I’d do somewhere around 2000 cals so you’re not starving
Do you think this machine is better with the roller vs the strap in version?
I like the roller
@@ShreddedDad thank you I just got this and I was having second thoughts This was helpful Thank you keep doing your thing I love your channel
@BjayjonesMH you’re welcome and thank you
This was a good one thank you
👊
Why anchor the arm anywhere besides the center?
It gives you just a significant additional number of options without having to move the bracket up or down by having those two additional anchor points. And also allows for higher or lower settings with wherever you have the bracket placed. The side holes on my rack are 6 inches apart so for some movements, having those smaller angle options works better than moving the bracket
How's the Freak Athlete bench for reverse hypers?
It’s for bodyweight and resistance band hypers Works well since the GHD pad lifts your hips so there’s clearance on the bottom If you’re really tall you can decline the handle side so you have more leg room on the other end Here’s my full review of the Freak Athlete Nordic Hyper ruclips.net/video/Um8xKdh4Iqg/видео.html
@@ShreddedDad do you think sissy squats can be done with it?
@blackjaguarlord no
Resistencie profile is good in negative phase of the movement?
Yes, you feel constant tension because of the 45° angle of the loading bar. The weight plates never go vertical at the top or bottom of the movement
@@ShreddedDad wow it is perfect so
Yes gets good range of motion and constant tension. You can read my review with more details here ShreddedDad.com/freak-athlete-leg-developer
is there a remote possibility that you can use that attachment to do reverse hypers??? with straps or something like that?
It’s too low for reverse hypers but you can use the Nordic Hyper for that 👉 ruclips.net/video/Um8xKdh4Iqg/видео.html
RoboCop!
😮
Still way too expensive. Its just a hyper bench, nordic and cost $700. A nordic mini bench be had $200, a hyper $100-200.
Plenty of machines out there to choose from. This one is space saving and that’s a big plus in home gyms
use a belt
Using the leg attachment, it looks like you could do an anchored version of sissy squats or reverse nordics.
You can do reverse Nordics on the bench. Not sure about sissy squats
This is petty cool!
It’s a good alternative to an adjustable bench that doesn’t take up a ton of space
@@ShreddedDad definitely! And if you've seen my tiny home gym, you know I need to save all the space I can! 😅
For sure 👍
I like how this doesn't need a base like the Bowflex ones
So do I. And they feel very solid.

How does this compare in resistance to something like the trekker 5000?
I’ve never used the Trekker 5000
Fyi, careful of the pull knobs, caveat, you may not be able to detach it as easily as in the video if you threaded it until it holds on to the bar, it makes the outer thread of the pull knob stick out of the holders ring/platform, so, it wont slide as easy if you dont loosen or align it back first
